Reflective teaching, which is contrary to experienced teaching, is a kind of instructional method. The most important aims of reflective teaching are to develop the teachers and their students, and improve teaching and students' learning by reflecting and self-assessment.First, this paper introduces the historical research of the reflective teaching, through the definition of reflective teaching, nature of reflective teaching, model of reflective teaching, characteristics of reflective teaching; In this paper, I have attempted to give the definition of reflective teaching; I have sketched out the theory of reflective teaching.Second, this paper introduces the fault of traditional assessment of teaching, and the present of assessment of reflective teaching, and the orientation of values in assessment of reflective teaching. This paper has pointed out the standpoint of assessment of reflective teaching and the requirement of assessment of reflective teaching.Third, this paper has attempted to give the rational analysis of reflective teaching, has pointed out the index of a good lesson in reflective teaching, has draw up factors of assessment of reflective teaching, for instance level in assessment of teachers, and so on. This paper has attempted to devise quantitative form and methodology for assessment of reflective teaching.In the end, this paper study the assessment methods of reflective teaching .the process of reflective teaching is the process of teachers' self-assessment, so to some extent, the assessment methods of reflective teaching are the methods of reflective teaching. Because of implicit theory, in the assessment of reflective teaching, teachers himself ought to assess, and should regard teacher's self -assessment as it is core in content. Those are an indispensable method, as reflection—diary and action research and so on, even to the extent that the teachers finish reflective teaching in the process of action research, aside from teachers' self-assessment, colleagues and students should assess teachers' reflective teaching, at the same time schools also should assess teachers' reflective teaching, and establish school atmosphere for reflective teaching.
