With the rapid development of environmental education project of our country, the urgent needs of huge amount environmental education teachers is occurred. Teacher normal schools and academies (TNSAAs) are no shirking the responsibility of cultivating and training teachers of environmental education for kindergartens, middle schools, even universities of our country. In order to insure the quality of environmental education of our country, the teachers' quality of TNSAAs should be insured at first. It is necessary to explore and develop the currentlytheories and methods of environmental education of teacher normal schools and academies under this situation, so as to promote the development of environmental education of TNSAAs of our country.(1) The method of deduction and colligation had been adopted in this article to analyze the significance in theory and practice of environmental education of TNSAAs, It was pointed out that the environmental education of TNSAAs is the education that "to urge students to master basic knowledges and theories of modern environmental science, to gain the elementary skills to solve environmental problems and optimize environment—specially the skills of environmental education in future, to arouse the awareness about how to understand, comprehend, and protect environment correctly, and to get the ability of protecting environment and dealing with environmental problems, then to promote the sustainable development of human society."...
