| Information technology plays a vital role in the field of biology education at high school with the evolution of the technology innovation. Nowadays, it becomes much more important techniques to serve the practice of education by improving the quality and fostering the basic awareness of high school students when they frequently interface the IT during the daily education of biology. Moreover, the use of IT is coming to be the trend of reform of senior school education of biology and it currently provides a changing mode of teaching with more resources sharing and system support by setting up biology teaching data base. Provided the theory and experience of previous expertise in the Biology education, this article has analyzed the exisiting problem of the current data base and presents an in depth overview of establishing the rules of multi-media teaching resources database ( MTRDB ) in the field of biology education, further more, defines the method of establishing data base with a model as the American modern resources view, dynamic state resources database theories, and the resources classification theories of R. M. Gagne, promulgate according to the Ministry of Education of The modern long range education resources construction technical specification. The author has established the primary database as per Volume 2 chapter 6 in course of Heredity and Variation during the pilot of the tool in Four Classes, Grade Two of Kunming Mingde Middle School E.nd it demonstrates the importance as well the good effect of facilitation during the daily teaching practice.Last but not least, this paper has also discussed the difficulties and learnings during the establishment of experimental model for Biology education at senior school.
