High school biology course will be on the basis of compulsory education, to further improve the students’biological science literacy, the understanding of the scientific method is an important aspect of scientific literacy. Without rigorous scientific method, the history of biology cannot evolve, the integrating science history with teaching to provide a platform for the students to understand the scientific method. Based on this, this study will be "the integrating the history of biology with teaching to influence senior’s understanding of the scientific method"as a core problem, comb the contents of the high school biology scientific method, choose the history of biology content of reflecting the scientific method, explore the teaching approach of the integrating the history of biology and carry out a research into teaching practice.First of all, based on the literature research, we determine the scientific method education goal level, comb the specific scientific methods and the nature of the scientific method in high school biology; Secondly, based on the literature research, excavate the history of biology content of Reflecting the scientific method; Again, based on the literature research and interview method, explore the teaching principle and teaching program of the integrating the history of biology to promote the understanding of the scientific method, around the important biology knowledge and combined with the general steps of exploring to help students understand the scientific method and its nature and form method of consciousness, step by step to master and apply the most basic and the most important scientific method; Finally, in high school second grade students as the research object, with the high school biology teacher cooperation, carry out empirical study of the history of biology into teaching, realize the integrating the history of biology with teaching to influence senior’s understanding of the scientific method.Based on the statistical analysis of data, we draw the following conclusion:(一) There is no obvious effect to students’understanding and utilization ability of the scientific method in integrating the history of biology with teaching, but to a certain extent, can bridge the gap between students in this aspect. Overall student’s understanding of the scientific method and using ability is not high.(二) the integrating the history of biology can obviously promote the student to the understanding of the scientific method, embodies the value of the history of biology to help understand the nature of the scientific method.The researchers combined with own research results and research result, summarize existing problems or difficulties in the integrating the history of biology with teaching:Deal with the history of biology materials is difficult; the effectiveness of the history of biology into classroom teaching; The restriction of the high school biology teaching evaluation ways; Time is not long enough classroom teaching experiment. According to the result of the practice, relevant teaching suggestions are put forward:the integration of science data optimization; paying attention to the learning of the thorough analysis; changing teaching, perfecting the knowledge structure; shifting test job evaluation oriented.The scientific method of learning is a long and gradual process, in this study, the integrating the history of biology can obviously promote the student to the understanding of the scientific method, but for the understanding of the scientific method has great improvement, and understanding of the nature of the scientific method whether or not can promote the understanding and application of the scientific method, need to continue to study practice.
