Present Situation Analysis And Study On The Curriculum Reform Of Specialized Volleyball Courses For Physical Education Majors In Our Country's Colleges And Universities

Through the methods of survey, literature study, mathematical statistics, logical analysis, etc., this article analyzed the present situation of specialized volleyball courses for physical education majors in our country's colleges and universities, and pointed out the orientation of the curriculum development. The result shows that: 1) the colleges and universities have jumped the traces of subject standard in guiding ideology, and turn to quality education. They pay attention to social needs and students' requirements. The teachers follow out the principle of "delectable physical education" in teaching practice. 2) The establishment of curriculum goals attaches more importance to students' comprehensive quality, transferred from teaching techniques monotonously to the combining of knowledge, technique study, and ability cultivation. 3) The curriculum content is made up of theory, techniques and ability cultivation. The teaching period distribution of these three parts is illogical because of mass in content and scarcity in teaching period. 4) Adopted both traditional and modernistic teaching methods, most of these colleges and universities make a point of new teaching instrument. 5) In the examination standard, each college and university strengthens the quantification degree and objectivity, and confirms detailed quantification values, to ensure the maneuverability and comparability of examination. But still lay particular emphasis on an terminative evaluation in the examination of ability; 6) At teaching material system aspect, our country enlarged the strength of teaching material reform, and confirms the orientation of teaching material reform, and have made some achievements in both these; 7) The teachers pay too much attention in the students' skill development, but neglect the development of their basic ability especially creative ability; 8) At teaching condition aspect, The basic performance guarants the volleyball location provision,bat lacks teaching assistant instruments expect for volleyball courts; 9) The colleges and universities are abundance in teachers, most of whom are professors or associated professors.
