From the late 1980s, peasants began to move to cities cosmically. The mobility trends of country to urban will continue, the scale will also grow, because of the impulse of surplus agricultural labor force, the attraction of cities' work availability and interests comparison between city and rural, and the decrease of quantity of township and village enterprises absorbing labors. From the perspective of historical development, it is the product of modern development of our industrial structure and employment structure, as well as a part of urbanization that peasants have been going to cities. Generally speaking, the fact that peasants going to cities has alleviated the pressure on our rural surplus labor force and has played a positive role for rational allocation of labor and for economic prosperity of urban and rural. Since the mid-1990s, When peasants' flows gradually emerges the employment Climax of city center, as a result of cities' economic restructuring and the state-owned enterprises' laid-off workers, the employment pressure suddenly increased. Peasants' situation of employment, survival and security has been never optimistic, that issues are not only related to urban governance and social equity, but also related to the healthy development of urbanization. So there is very important and special significance to study peasants' occupational situation in city.
