Study On The Informal Employment Of Graduates Of Higher Vocational Colleges In NingBo City

With the expansion of college enrollment and popularization of higher education, the number of college graduates increased year after year. Then to solve the problem of the employment of college students together with migrant workers and laid-off workers becomes extremely urgent, which is directly related to the economic growth, social stability and government’s image and commitment. Therefore, encouraging college graduates to participate in informal employment and form a co-existed pattern of regular and informal employment is the key solution of China’s college graduates employment problem, which is also a prospective and realistic strategic choice.Compared with the ordinary colleges graduates, the vocational college graduates has the low cultural foundation, strong working ability, lack of confidence and other features, so the author guesses there is certain differences between the vocational college graduates and the ordinary colleges graduates in the informal employment reality. Through literature review, the author found the related theories and practice at home and abroad has great limitations on the research of the informal employment in higher vocational college graduates. At the same time, the author combs the scholars’ definition of informal employment again, and analyzes the causes of informal employment, and dissects the regular and informal employment graduates in the vocational higher colleges by the means of literature research, data analysis, comparative research based on the former literature research. In addition, the author takes a close study on the vocational college graduates’ cognition, evaluation and willing of the informal employment and the influences of the graduates’ job choices caused by the above contents, and compares the promotion space, social security, the benefits reality, job satisfaction and other factors between the regular and informal employment.On the basis of the former analysis, the paper also explores the factors of the higher vocational graduates choosing informal employment road restricted by the school, government and society, and puts forward effective measures according to the three aspects. The author thinks the research has great significance on the deep understanding of informal employment and in-depth targeted employment guidance, which also contributes practical value to improvement of the higher vocational college graduates employment quality in the new situation.
