| 'The course reform outline of basic education' issued by Ministry of Education in the summer in 2001 strongly emphasizes the reforms of the teaching process, and advocates to change the ways of presenting the knowledge, the students' learning methods, the teachers' teaching methods and the interactive ways between the teacher and the students. The need of these four teaching reforms is a serious challenge to the traditional teaching method which the teacher speaks while the students listen, as well as it calls up a new kind of teaching method which demands autonomy, cooperation and investigation. In the information age, the goal of the education is to teach the learners how to study in all their lives. And the study of the teaching method which regards the student as the teaching body has become the main current of the reform in education. The thesis belongs to this realm. The thesis explains the teaching structural process of 'autonomy, cooperation and investigation' from theory and practice. First, the researcher analyzes and illustrates the background of the new teaching method, presents the present physics teaching, and underlines the importance of the new teaching method. Secondly, the new teaching method is explained in more detail, including its conception, purpose, theories, characters, practical methods and the existing problems and so on. Thirdly, based on the above, the current situation of the students' interest in physics and their ways of learning physics were surveyed by various ways, such as the questionnaire, the experiments and the interviews with the students. Finally, the researchers designed the experiment projects, and proceeded a series of practice that promote students' ability to study, to practise and to create. The experiment concludes that the application of 'autonomy, cooperation, investigation' in high school physics class has achieved positive effects, and this teaching methods can be transferred to the teaching of the other subjects, and it has valuable implications to the teachers who are enthusiasm for the teaching reform. |
