Solving problem is the basic form of schoolwork, and the existing purpose of schoolwork.The stardard of the problom-solving teaching theory will affect not only the quality of students' schoolwork but also the quality of teaching in class and students' integrative quality level. As a result, the development of students' problem-solving ability is closely connected with students' schoolwork evaluation and the effective judgement of teaching. By the curriculum reform of new rounds of basic education and the reform of teaching and learning ,the author elect the exploration of the development of senior students' problem-solving ability in geography teaching as research aim.Based on many years' geography teaching and psychology and education pedagogy and according to "cooperative learning theory", "innovative education theory", "constructivism theory", the author puts emphasis on the development of students'geography problem-solving ability and the training of students' thinking ability of geography learning with a developing foresight. As is proved, the development of problem-solving ability can not only improve students' academic credits notably, but also promote students' study interest and self-confidence. The author hopes the exploration and research of this problem will help form an effective approach to improve the quality of senior geography teaching and the development of students' interest and learn effect.
