Geography test,as an important way to improve students' learning proficiency,can reflect teachers' teaching effect and students' mastery of knowledge.There are 11 multiple choice questions,2 material analysis questions and 1 elective material analysis question in the National Matriculation Test,which investigate high school students' geographical key competency including students' regional cognitive ability,geography comprehensive thinking,man-earth coordination view and geography practice ability.Studying the correlation between questions in geography test and the cultivation of students' geographical key competency can not only optimize classroom teaching measures and improve the teaching process of geography,but also lay a foundation for deepening the research on theories of multiple intelligence and effective teaching method.With the analysis of geography test and the questionnaire survey,this study discusses the cultivation of high school students' geography key competency,and classifies the geography test questions into four categories: students' regional cognitive ability,geography comprehensive thinking,man-earth coordination view and geography practice ability;this study also explores distribution characteristics of geographic questions in the National Matriculation Test and the internal relationship of cultivation of students' geography key competency and National Matriculation Test.Therefore,we should deepen the theory of multiple intelligence education in view of the characteristics of geography key competency.Under the development of geography core literacy,it is necessary to cultivate students' ability to organize knowledge independently,summarize the methods of geography tests from the perspective of geography key competency,analyze test questions under the view of regional cognition.Besides,students are encouraged to explore the changes of questions in the National Matriculation Test from the perspective of geography key competency and then to explore the measures to cultivate geography key competency.Based on the geographic questions in question in the National Matriculation Test,this paper discusses the cultivation tools of the key competency,including the geography teaching materials and the new geography curriculum standards.This paper discusses the effective methods of geography teaching in classroom can improve students geography key competency.When analyzing geography key competency,teaching rules should be obeyed,and attention should be paid to the relationship between geography teaching materials and geography curriculum standards.Besides,we should focus more on the quantitative research of classroom teaching design and the implementation goals of geography classroom;we should also focus on interaction between teachers and students in geographic class.
