By method of the questionnaire, this thesis is intended to make an investigation of professional women in Yimeng District, Shandong Province. By studying women's sports consciousness, actions and fundamental situation, the author points out the current achievements and shortcomings in women's sport in Linyi, and makes a try to find out the causes for the problems, and the solutions to them.The questionnaire shows the advantages of the professional women's sport in Linyi.They have been aware that sports have taken on many functions rather than only building up, such as keeping relaxed, vigorous,confident and competitive. Women here have higher positive sports feelings,and a similar opinion to their values of sport , and there are more professional women here to join in sports games.The current problems include a small proportion of sport,more monotonous sports games , poorer sports abilities and fewer sports facilities. Of course , the lower sports consumption and illegal consumption structure are also common here.The reasons for these problems lie in many aspects. On the one hand, traditional opinions, role contradiction and poor sports installation prevent professional women's sport; on the other hand, unsatisfied organizational level of women's sports, poor physical education and backward sports consumption all show their influence.Much work should be performed in carrying out the general building-up scheme to develop the professional women's sports in Linyi.
