The subjective interpersonal relationship factors of the university student are that the individual suffered by his subjective feelings and behavior, which directly influenced mental health. Based on overview of former researches, interviews with some students, the theoretical hypothesis and the results of open-ended questions, the preliminary questionnaire was formed. Factor analysis helped to develop the formal questionnaire of subjective interpersonal relationship factors. The reliability and the validity were testified by structural equation model and other special means. After investigating 782 university students with the Symptom Checklist 90(SCL-90) and the Formal Subjective Interpersonal Relationship Factors Questionnaire, the relation between the characteristics of subjective interpersonal relationship factors and the mental health was explored. The results indicated that:1.The structure of subjective interpersonal relationship factors was made of interpersonal safety, interpersonal strain, interpersonal resistance, and interpersonal retaliation; interpersonal safety was the main subjective interpersonal relationship factor. The questionnaire of subjective interpersonal relationship factors was of high reliability and validity. The questionnaire could be regarded as a kind of evaluative implement on characteristics of subjective interpersonal relationship factors of the university students; characteristics of the subjective interpersonal relationship factors of the university students were negative at some extent.2.On the three dimensions of interpersonal strain, interpersonal resistance, and interpersonal retaliation, subjects showed significant grade differences, and also on the whole questionnaire.
