A harmonious interpersonal relationship plays an important role in all-round development and successful career, so it does in mental health. For the sake of psychological sense of belonging and security, one will need to commutate with others and tell their sorrows and happiness even to enhance their feelings by mutual communication. Only by mutual communication, people can release those negative emotions such as crisis, stress, loneliness and anxiety so as to get a better social support and developmental opportunities.The development of interpersonal relationship in dormitory depends on the narrow space named dormitory, which means a lot of contacts among members who live and stay together. So that it is affected by objective factors and subjective factors. And based on the current research on the interpersonal relationship in dormitory, those subjective factors such as experience and behavior in communication for college students can be named the subjective factors of interpersonal relationship in dormitory.This article is based on the theoretical basis of theoretical analysis, literature, writing style questionnaire for the measurement, to college students as research objects, relationships quarters and subjective factors to study the relationship between mental health topics, from interpersonal expectations, interpersonal safety, interpersonal anxiety, interpersonal hostility, and interpersonal retaliation to analyze these five areas and elaborate on how to strengthen the relationships students hostel recommendations from the subjective and strategies.This article is made up by seven parts. The first part is the introduction, it describes the background of the current students which is refer to dormitory relationships, interpersonal relationships literature review, dormitories subjective factors of interpersonal status, mental health and interpersonal relationships dormitory research. The second part refers to the proposing and the meanings of this paper and its significance. Respectively, it is elaborated from the theoretical and practical aspects. The third part is the design of this study, including the purpose, hypothesis, method and the process of this paper. The fourth part is the dormitory interpersonal relationships and mental health research, which is a core component of this article, including measuring tools, reliability and validity analysis, subjective factors dormitory relationships demographic variables in the analysis of data at school, dormitories interpersonal relationships and mental health. The fifth part is the general discussion for data analysis; the conclusion is a reasonable explanation and demonstration. Part VI is the conclusion of the study. Part VII is a dormitory for students to strengthening and improving interpersonal relationships and mental health recommendations and strategies.How dormitory interpersonal relationship of subjective factors affects mental health, and whether it can predict mental health, a further research is needed to be done. Existing domestic and foreign-related research are both focusing on interpersonal skills and strategies, while the hostel dormitory interpersonal relationships and college students has fewer mental health research. But research findings are inconsistent. This research not only can improve mental health and provide a new frame of reference to improve management, enhance the collective life of college student's subjective well-being, even to improve university students quarters, study and life satisfaction.In this study, SFDIG (Subjective Factors Related to Dormitory Interpersonal Getting-on for College Students) and SCL-90 are measured among 456 college students to test the current situation of interpersonal relationship in dormitory and mental health. And whether there is any difference among gender, major, grade, and one childe. There are any relevant between interpersonal relationship in dormitory and mental health. The results are as follows,Firstly, SFDIG has significant difference in gender, major and grade. So does the same in one child and city or town.Secondly, SFDIG are relevant to SCL-90 with moderate correlations, each factors in SFDIG are relevant to factors of anxiety, depression and revenge in SCL-90, and the correlations highly significant. It is fit for the premier hypothesis Thirdly, SFDIG can predict for mental health. The interpersonal anxiety, tension can be taken as a positive predictor. The interpersonal tension and revenge may be taken as a negative predictor. So the interpersonal tension, revenge and anxiety have the same function.
