Comparative Analysis On The Social Network Capital Of Migrant And Landless Peasants

Recent years, many experts and scholars have conducted many researches on different aspects of the migrant peasants and landless peasants. And in this paper, the author is trying to carry out a comparative analysis research on their social capital.Through analying the questionnaire data, the thesis compared the the social network structure (including the network size, density, heterogeneity and homophily), the relationship between the network structure, their important issues, the bottom and the top of the network, and the professional numbers of the two groups. Thus, it reached a conclusion: (l)Network size and density do not cause any differences in their social capital, However, the number of types of network relations, the ratio between strangers, the heterogeneity of occupation, household register, citizenship, the homophily of age,occupation, household register, citizenship will make the different social capital ;(2) The relatives are the most important in both migrant peasants' social capital and the landless peasants', and although both of them like to discuss the mixed topic with their partners, the imgrant peasants like emotional topic more than tool topic while the landless like more tool topics;(3) the top and bottom end of the migrant peasants' network is higher than the landless one, but the gap between the networks and the number of jobs in their network are less than landless peasants'.
