It goes without saying that comprehensive mastering of scientific knowledge is one of the main goals of modern high education. Moreover, the physical and mental health of college students has great influence on the country's stabilization and development. To achieve this aim, our country is getting more and more public attention to this situation.Apparently, college time is an important moment of forming the idea of physical education with depth and physical exercise for life. College students' physical exercise behavior has their own characteristics. Under these circumstances, college students' physical exercise is becoming one of the popular research topics in the field. The article based on the present relatively developed Trans-theoretical Model, and focuses on the study of Stages of Change and Processes of Change. It also revised the broadly applied Stages of Change- Continuous Measure Scale and the Processes of Change Scale in China's realistic situation. Moreover, it also made a quantitative survey with large numbers of targets aiming at Chinese college students' physical exercise behavior.According to the principle of psychology measure and theory of stage of change, the writer adapts the Stage of Change (Continuous Measure) Scale into Chinese version. Three hundred students and five hundred and fifty students of college in Shanghai and Beijing were tested by using the first edition and. the second edition. Then the writer employs the factor analysis and correlation analysis to analyze the reliability and validity of the data to form Chinese version Scale. On the basis of these preparations, six thousand six hundred and seven survey targets were tested nationally. The results show that: firstly, college students' exercise behavior could be divided into five stages as followed, pre-contemplation stage, contemplation stage, preparation stage, action stage and maintenance stage; secondly, Stage of Change (Continuous Measure) Scale could be used to separate the five change stages; thirdly, the Chinese version of Stage of Change (Continuous Measure) Scale has comparative high reliability and validity, and could be used as an effective tool to measure college students' exercise stages of change. In the accordance with the principle of psychology measure and theory of stage of process, the Chinese version processes of change scale which is adapted to Chinese situation has been developed on the ground of several processes of change scale examples home and abroad. This investigation carried out the first test among three hundred college students in Shanghai and Beijing and the second test among six thousand six hundred and seven college students nationally. On the base of this, the Chinese version of processes of change scale was formed. The outcomes manifest that: firstly, there are six changing process below the Chinese college students' changes of process including self liberation, dramatic reevaluation, helping relationships, social liberation, self management, and consciousness control; secondly, the structural validity and the inner coherence of reliability prove that the Chinese version processes of change scale has comparatively high reliability and validity, and fits the standards of psychology measure. On the base of modifying the Stage of Change (Continuous Measure) Scale and the processes of change scale, this article also explored the relationship between stage of change and process of change. The results indicate that: firstly, there are apparent differences on the genders and grades of college students according to the six factors within change of stage and the five stages within change of process; secondly, the six factors within change of stage could impact respectively on the five stages within change of process; thirdly, the six linear equations developed from the previous survey show that the six factors within change of process could offer different explanation and have different influence to the five stages within change of stage.
