Freshman just begin their new life in college, and the beginning is very important for their four college life and even their work, learning, living in future, so their health is very important. Large numbers of study show that there are a lot of problems about the freshman'health in our country, so the situation can't be optimistic and many studies support exercise is good for health, then we should think enhance freshman'health by exercise,and there are many limits in the studies about the exercise behavior of freshman in china at present. This thesis uses"the stages of change questionnaire"to survey the freshman of some colleges in Wuhan in order that it can find out the scale is whether suitable for surveying the exercise behavior of Chinese freshman, and then analyze the data using ANOVA procedures to know the stage change characters about the exercise behavior of Chinese freshman and discuss the possible factors that affecting the exercise behavior of freshman. Trying to provide a research tool for study the exercise behavior of Chinese freshman and offer some reference in designing the interference strategy for promoting the freshman to participate in exercise, and accelerate them to change their exercise stages.Results:It is suitable to research the exercise behavior of Chinese freshman because both the structure validity and the internal consistencies coefficient of'the stages of change questionnaire'reach a ideal level.Participants distribute in five stages of exercise and the number of participants in every stage is different.
