An Analysis Of Current Situation Of Judge Staff In Basketball And The Study Of Countermeasures For Problems In Shanxi Province

The increasing frequency of the international communication about P.E witnesses the quick improvement of Chinese basketball. Meanwhile, the fast development of modern basketball puts forward a newer and higher demand to basketball judges'job, thus facing fierce challengesIn order to find the causes of the lower speed and slower development of the current level of basketball judges in Shanxi province overall, objectively and accurately, this paper based on the practical situation in Shanxi province. applying the ways of documentary reference ,investigations(interview and questionnaire), statistic analysis ,investigating and analyzing the current situation of the staff through three aspects----individual condition system .training system and environment system as well as utilizing and absorbing the successful experience of referees abroad, puts forth the strategies for its steady continuous and healthy development . The research shows that the main problems of the judges in Shanxi province are as follows:1There have been some problems in referees selecting and training The number of judge staff with national degree in Shanxi province is smaller than that of in advanced cities, so it is necessary to enlarge the rate of track and field judge staff with international and national degree in Shanxi province.2 The management of basketball judge staff needs a further improvement.3 English levels and the ability to apply the advanced apparatuses such as computer need to be further improved.4 The chances of going abroad for further study and practice are slim.5 The professional information provided to judges is insufficient.6 Training for judge staff is inefficient7 Assessment systems are inperfect.According to the existing problems and factors influencing the development of basketball judge staff level in Shanxi province, the thesis makes the following suggestions for it is fast and healthy development.1 strengthen propaganda as well as the authorities'attention and create a desirable public opinion background for the judges.2 improve the systems of basketball match forcing the assiduous practice3 liberate thoughts, fortify the strenth of staff selecting and training, use the younger judges courageously and provide opportunities of practice in the spots to them4.reform the management style of track and field judge staff; perfect its systems in every aspects, establish training system of track and field judge staff as soon as possible.5 lay weight on English level and the use of advanced apparatus such as computers.6 Strengthen higher institutes' training to judge staff, improve judges' occupation ability.7 Perfect test systems; plan the training and assessing properly; take part in judges' practice positively and work hard in researches on arbitrator, which are the effective measures to promote continuous improvement of the moral and occupational quality in every level of basketball judge staff.
