Research On The Status Quo And Development Trend Of Basketball Referees In Shanxi Province

Basketball has been a development course for a century.Due to its easy-todevelop characteristics and unique competitive charm,it has been well received by the masses and has established a broad mass base throughout the country.With the vigorous development of basketball in Shanxi Province,basketball competitions at all levels have gradually increased,and basketball referees have been in short supply.In order to strengthen the basketball referee team and meet the needs of all levels of competition,this study uses the literature method and expert interview method.The field visit survey and the issuance of questionnaires,combined with the experience,systematically and comprehensively analyze the development of the basketball referee team in Shanxi Province,and propose a rational strategy for the development of the basketball referee team in Shanxi Province.The research conclusions are as follows:(1)The Shanxi basketball referee team has begun to take shape and has a good national referee base.It plays an irreplaceable role in the successful hosting of many basketball events in Shanxi Province.Sustained development has made a huge contribution.(2)The number of national and first-level referees is small,and the proportion of male and female referees is unbalanced,which affects the healthy development of the basketball referee team.(3)The age structure of basketball referees in Shanxi Province is unreasonable,and there is a fault phenomenon in which the green and yellow are not connected,which limits the development of the basketball referee team in Shanxi Province to some extent.(4)The qualifications of basketball referees in Shanxi Province are mainly undergraduate.The overall referee's academic qualifications are relatively high,and most of them are served by physical education teachers at all levels of colleges and universities.(5)The overall basketball referee team in Shanxi Province has a long-term ruling time and has certain experience and ability to cope with and deal with emergencies.However,some referees have fewer opportunities for on-thespot rulings each year and lack opportunities for exercise.(6)The management mechanism of the referee team in Shanxi Province is not perfect and needs to be improved.According to the research conclusion,the corresponding suggestions are given:(1)Standardize and improve the management methods of referees,increase the management of the referee team,avoid malicious competition between referees,improve the fairness and impartiality of referee's ruling,and ensure the sound development of the referee team.(2)Gradually improve the salary,reward and punishment system,increase the protection of referees,protect the legitimate rights and interests of the referees,attract more outstanding social talents to join the basketball referee team,and strive to achieve the normalization of basketball referees.(3)Pay attention to the selection and training of young referees and female referees,make full use of the advantages of female referees,balance the structure of the referee team,and promote the rationalization of the referee team structure.(4)Broaden the selection channels of basketball referees,actively recruit retired basketball coaches and athletes to join the referee team,tap the resources of college sports talents,promote basketball referees into the campus,popularize referee knowledge,solve the problem of single primary training,and cultivate More excellent and younger second-level referees,constantly expanding and supplementing the basketball referee team,thus solving the problem of referee age faults.(5)Improve the English level of the referees,organize referees to listen to the English training sessions of international referees,practice listening and speaking skills,improve English listening and speaking skills throughpractice,and hire professional English teachers to gradually train from simple to complex..(6)Increase the training of practical basketball referees and increase the number of referee's on-the-spot decisions.In particular,in the case of key matches,you should not only trust the old referees,the prestigious referees,and boldly send newcomers.Encourage good referees to dictate key competitions and exercise mental quality and stress resistance.
