Study On The Mutual Relation Between Around-Bohai Sports Tourism Zone And The 2008 Olympics

Modern tourism originated in the middle of the 19th century. With one hundred years of development, tourism has soared to the position of the first industry. Sports tourism, which comes from tourism, gradually shows its special value and charm and has been already accepted by people. The holding of 2008 Beijing Olympic Games will provide the new resource for the development of sports tourism. In order to grasp this golden opportunity, the article comes up with the conception of building around-Bohai sports tourism zone with the venue of 2008 Olympics -Beijing and Qingdao as its center.Adopting literature view, expert consulted method, logical inductive method and systematically analytic method, the article, on the base of analyzing the current development situation of Chinese tourism and sports tourism, analyzes in detail the possibility and indispensability, wholly develops the sports tourism zone and systematically programs the zone and probes into the inner mutual relation between this zone and 2008 Olympic Games. The conclusions are as follows:Firstly, on the basis of scholar's research of sports tourism, this paper explains sports tourism zone and then defines around-Bohai sports tourism zone. It is a synthetic tourism region with the center located in Beijing and Qingdao. From the angle of ecology, economical development, culture, transportation and communication and location, we should properly distribute resources and develop various kinds of sports activities or activities about sports to build people's body or entertain themselves in this sports tourism zone.Secondly, from the study we know constructing this zone can make full use of Olympic effect, realize the sustainable development of sports tourism in around-Bohai zone, promote national body-building and coordinate the development of this region. Therefore, it is necessary to construct this sports tourism zone.Thirdly, the rich sports tourism resources here, the sports tourism equipment and condition here, the tourism organization here, the inclination and support of governmental policies, development of this zone and the opportunity of holding 2008 Olympics make it possible to construct this sports tourism zone.Fourthly, sports tourism in around-Bohai should take Beijing and Qingdao as the center and make best use of sports tourism resources of their surrounding region so as to construct a sports tourism zone with ocean sports, prairie, ice and snow, sports show and so on all rolled into one region.Fifthly, 2008 Olympics can influence this zone in many aspects, mainly in economical, political and cultural side. The influence has advantages and disadvantages and the first is main part that can promote sports tourism in this zone.Sixthly, the construction of this zone can enrich the content of humanity Olympics, promote the development of scientific Olympics and improve the implementation of green Olympics. The deep development of this zone can realize three concepts of 2008 Olympics. 2008 Olympics also provides golden opportunity and new resources for the development of sports tourism in around-Bohai region. It reflects that there are good mutual relations between this sports tourism zone and 2008 Olympics.
