Since the new century of the 21st is coming, the development of modern education technology, especially the application of multi-media teaching means creating the new fields for history teaching. According to the characteristics of history teaching, combination of multi-media technique and history teaching will be more and more closely. Based on the research of history characteristics such as past, concrete, diversification and causality, the text thinks that use of a multi-media technique in history teaching adequately embodies the characteristics of history academics.The soul of multi-media technique application is designation and the creation of history courseware. This text explains process of producing history courseware selecting some teaching Case.In order to apply a multi-media technique in the history teaching, teachers have to notice a few problems as following: The first, multi-media technique wants advanced education thoughts; The second, multi-media technique wants to combination with traditional history teaching and servers for history teaching; The third, the teacher wants to change of own role. This text also carries on a research to these questions and provides some references for the large history teachers.In the end, the text generalizes a conclusion and thinks the content have some shortages .In a word, the applied potential of Multi-media technique is still very big in the junior high school history, the teaching needs further research.
