The application of the computer multi-media in education make teaching method get rapid development, expand students and the teachers' perspectives, drew student closer to teacher, make the teaching resource be shared more effectively, reduce the regional difference of education, also cause educational circles to consider the teaching principle, teaching thought, teaching means, teaching method which the computer technique bring. The teaching is a system that includes the teacher, the student, and content of courses, teaching method and means. Obviously, multi-media courseware is important part of education system, it only because useful when the courseware was controlled by teachers and the students. In actual teaching, the courseware becomes a bridge that link both teaching and studying of the CAI. In our days, the importance of the multi-media on teaching has been widely recognized. On improving the quality of teaching, we set much value on creating multi-media courseware that is needed in high schools and elementary schools. But, because of some limit of teacher's practical situation, selecting topic, practical creating and application of multi-media courseware exist some shortages all the time in the course of developing CAI. For the need of multi-media teaching, beginning with "the exploitation of physics multi-media courseware of first - year grade in high school", the teaching software of catering for teaching need is produced. It not only can increase courseware stock content, but also can offer the theories and techniques of multi-media courseware for High School physics teachers to improve the ability of producing courseware. The paper has five sections: the first section is the elementary knowledge of creating courseware, the second section is the basic theories of creating courseware, section three is the principles of creating courseware, section four is the course of creating physics multi-media courseware of first - year grade of the high school, the last section is the evaluation of courseware. It mostly expounds the theoretical basics of courseware and answers a few questions exist in the course of creating courseware.
