An Exploratory Approach To Teaching School Geography Through Blogs On The Internet

The rise of blogs on the internet and their wide popularity have proved to be of much value in airing views, spreading new modes of thinking and exchanging ideas on various topics. This paper attempts to explore ways as to how to make use of these effective media on the internet to improve teaching geography in schools. It is the author's belief that the proper use of blogs on the internet can help students to keep abreast of the latest developments in the field of geographical science, update their knowledge, stimulate their study interest and promote their initiative to absorb new things, thus adding vigour and vitality to the teaching of the subject.
