Many puzzles about the development of education arise in the new century. How to make a school get endless power of motivation in the course of development, how to manage a school better is a new question which calls for careful thinking and also needs to be settled immediately for every education manager. Just based on the problem mentioned above, as a school entitled with "Experiment", under the guidance of the management principle of "Enjoy learning and be creative in everything", our school adheres to the education idea of "Lay a solid foundation for lifelong development of each student" since the school was set up in 1993. Meanwhile our school also sticks to the way of promoting the standard of managing the school by scientific research and experiment trying to make our school the model one in the reform of basic education in Dongguan, one of the most famous one in Guangdong Province as well as one of the modern school in our country. As a normal school, we clearly know that our task is not only to implement the Party's education policy, to implement all-around and creative education and to transport qualified talented persons to universities, but also we face the pressure of policy evaluation from educational administrative departments of the higher authority, meet the expectation of high-standard demand from the parents as well as the whole society, all of which are the great challenge and opportunity for us. The sustainable development of a school is closely connected with the self-development of both teachers and students. Also students' development is decided by the development of teachers. However, the whole development of a school involves such aspects as school management, teaching process, staff, curriculum, and moral education, all of which require constant creation and experiment. In our opinion, creative educational experiment involves the following aspects: the creation in thinking, system and mechanism, in pattern and content, in method and means, and in policy and management, in which, we think, the creation in thinking is the guiding direction, creation in system and mechanism is the key and the creation in pattern and content is the core part. Besides, creation in method, means, policy and management are all about safeguards. Only when creation is achieved in all these aspect can we realize the goal of creative and experimental education.In 2003, our school applied for the key project of the national "Tenth Five-year plan" and was set up in the same year, which is on "The Study About Creative Educational Experiment in Middle School".
