In this study, cognitive information processing theory of mathematical problem solving phase of the analysis of the theoretical framework, the expert-novice research methods, mathematical comparison of Underachievers (relative novice) and the study of gifted students (relative experts) Cognitive Problem Solving process variations. In understands two aspects in the mathematics studies not good student question translation stage mistake main origin to the question key word wrong understanding and the stoichiometric relation mistake.3rd, two group of student scheme attribute aspect has the remarkable difference. Mathematics studies not good student question solution attribute time is short, the attribute type is unitary, the attribute lacks the validity, cannot withdraw the scheme or withdraw the low level the scheme, is the mathematics studies not good student has the significance difference primary cause with study the superior student in the question conformity stage.4th, two group of student strategy use aspect difference is remarkable.
