the junior middle school students.are at a particular developing period, in which they experience rapid changing and developing both in physiology and psychology, and students at this period are easy to suffer outside influence. All kinds of problems about mental health are easy to bother them without adults' correct guide and education. Infiltrating mental health education in biology course is to develop their mental diathesis through psychological education, according to teenagers' physical and psychological characteristics.This essay is a study of research on the infiltrating mental health education in biological education from both theory and practice aspect through some methods including literature research, educational experiment, investigation and interview. The paper figures out the'differences among the definition of mental health, psychological consultancy, psychological treatment and the standard of mental health, etc. With this basis, the course content and the character of middle school students, the author analyses the feasibility and necessity of infiltrating mental health education, proposing the mental health education principles that we should follow.The author takes some students as the object of study with one hundred and sixty-three students in four classes of junior grade one of Number Six Middle School in Guiyang and the author investigates the typical level of mental health of junior middle school students, and makes full use of every psychological education infiltration point in the text book ("Biology" for junior grade one, published by People's Education Publishing House) according to the infiltration principle and mental problems that junior grade one students usually come across—pressure from study, social relationship, controlling of emotion, sex problems in puberty, etc. The purpose is to stimulate the students' interests in studying biology to teach them how to control their emotion and to handle their social relationship by combining means of group corporation, self-study, research study and infiltration-competence-education through exerting subtle influences.Finally, the author analyses the students development based on the result from their psychological investigation form, investigation papers and school exam. The result of SPSS software process shows that the author's mental health education has improved the level of students' mental health and the scores at school in junior biology course and it can help students to set up a correct idea about sex problems in puberty.
