The newly published "Standard of normal senior high school Biology course (experimental version)",aimed at put China's biology course reformation forward, made inquiry learning one of the main learning methods of students and the basic concept. However it still remains many confusions and problems in teams of practicing these methods during our teaching. This paper mainly deals with how to combine the process and results of inquiring learning together in Senior High School's biology teaching and other items such as : the combination of cultivating ability and learning structure; how to change the traditional ideas of teachers under the pressure of college entrance examination, and how to improve our teaching effects more efficiently.Systemically theoretical researchers were conducted respectively on the connotion, relationship and unity of these fire learning approaches basically: discovery learning, reception learning, self-regulated learning and cooperative learning, a multi-combined teaching method centered on inquiry learning was also adopted during the research.According to the acadamic arrangement of senior middle school course and the learning characters as well as the mental and physical development laws of senior students, tow kinds of teaching methods (discovery—inquiry teaching method and reception inquiry teaching method) and three kinds teaching approaches (self—regulation, cooperation, and inquiry) were seperatly used during this research. Teaching arrangements are based on experiments of "Heredity and variation" and "the evolution of animals" in "Senior Biology for china (book II)". Compared with the same group, Pair—sample T test was taken to pre—quire and past—quire by statistic software SPSS 10. 0. It's proved that teaching effects were improved more effeciently with the application of this teaching method. Besides students gained a colorful experience of science and their main—body sense and creative sense also were strengthened. Moreover it produced their abilities and skills of biology exploration and improved their acdamic scores.From my feelings in the process of the teaching Experiment, we can draw the following suggestions: the inquiry teaching approaches should be variable; every biology teacher should become the active advocator and the practical researcher; the multi-combination teaching strategy of senior middle school...
