| In order to improve the effect of Quality Education, a new round of curriculum reform of basic education has been spreading throughout China, aiming at promoting students' fully development and cultivating students' innovative spirit. Confronting the reforming tide, we should combine the specialty of politics course teaching with the reality, transform and renovate the old and traditional patterns in teaching politics into a new pattern in which students should be the subjects in learning. Subject teaching is the necessity of the development of times. It has been developed from actual facts stable theories such as Constructivism, the Scientific Concept of Development, Metacognition and Psychological Security Theory and so on. Compatible with the Quality Education, Subject teaching has such features as subjective, open, comprehensive and active. It requires that politics teachers should be able to promote students' subjectivity, grasp the leading and integrated skills, let students have free activities, teach students in accordance of their aptitude and have creativity in teaching. Implementing subject teaching in politics classes in high school is of great theoretical and practical values. The writer has found that the present teaching has neglected students' subjectivity and initiativity in learning, which results in students hating, suspecting and being tired of learning the course of politics, according to the results of a survey on whether they like politics class and why among some high school students. This does not only tally with high school students' psychological aspects as the social nature, turbulence and the autonomy of characteristics, but also run counter to the education objectives cultivating of innovative talents and this has greatly lowered the effects of the course of politics. To implement the subject teaching in high school, teachers must take the right strategies and measures, including the proper handling of major issues and choosing the correct ways and means. |
