The 21st century is information era. The speed of knowledge-renewing is accelerating. The ways and forms of acquiring the knowledge are various. In order to adapt the demands of the times, the teaching method using computers as the auxiliary way has come out and comprehensively applied in the modern. education. Computers are effective modern educational tools. however, compared with tratitional teaching method, what disadvantages the new method has, and how properly and reasonably use computers as auxilary teaching way are still the questions which our numerous educational staff should concern with. The research was carried out between the experimental class which was provided computers as auxiliary way in partial chapter of the biology text-book and the contrast class which was applied the traditional teaching methods. Through the ways of questionaires and tests, the researcher acquires the various information about the tulenls'non-intellectual elements of interest, motivation, sentiment, emotion etc, as well as knowledge achievements. At last, the research result was dealt with in quantification, and analyzed them according to the knowledge achievements. thus, the researcher can fully-scaled gets to know the effect which the computers are used as auxliliary way in senior students' biology study. The following sentences were result of the experiment:1. To compare with the traditional teaching method, Computer assisted Instructions could improve students' achievement to some extent, especially who was not a top student in biology study.2. To compare with the traditional teaching method, Computer assisted instructions as an auxiliary way in biology teach has great advantage in the non-intellectual aspects, such as the interest in students' biology study, the thirst for seeking knowledge, and concentrating attention, etc.3. To compare with the traditional teaching method, Computer assisted Instruction has no apparent effects in improving students' study purpose, initiative, emotion and after-class study in some degree.
