Research On Curriculum System Of Science Education Department

It is urgent to set up science education department in universities in our country to train science teachers, for the development of international science education reform, the popularization of Science and the deficiency of scientific literacy in China. So there have been 54 colleges and universities which have set up science education department authorized by the Ministry of Education since 2001. With the development of science education department, there are some problems such as how to establish training object and curriculum structure, how to choose the curriculum model and the textbooks, and how to weave them, and so on, which relate to whether this department develops healthily. Therefore, it is necessary and urgent to do research on these problems.This article started with the background of the science education department, analyzed the actuality of development of science education reform and science education department at home and abroad, based on it we did some research on the constructing of curriculum system of science education department.Firstly, we did some investigation on the actuality about science teachers with the questionnaire in Zhejiang province, for finding out the requirement for the society to the science teachers, and established the training object of science education department combining the development of students who were major in science education, which prescribed the basic quality structure of science teachers from the thought, the knowledge, the ability, and the body and mind qualities.Secondly, we did some investigation on "the weightiness of training...
