The Strategy Of Vocational Education Of Yulin Under New Situation

Yulin is located in northern Shaanxi Province, including 12 counties, namely Yuyang, Shenmu, Fugu, Dingbian, Jingbian, hengshan, Jiaxian, Mizhi,Wubu, Suide, Qingjian, Zizhou. The six counties in southern Yulin are typically agricultural area, while other six counties in northern Yulin are industrial area. The vocational education is essential to the transfering of surplus labor force and fast development of industry in Yulin. The vocation education is also important to harmonious community and sustainable development of Yulin.The thesis analyses the status of vocational education and try to proposal some suggestions and strategies about the development of vocation education in Yulin.The main problems the vocational education of Yulin is facing include: the education is not closely related with the vocation demands. The tradition opinion has great influence and Local people do not think much of vocation education and people think the economic development is not relative with vocational education; The running system of vocational education lacks of sociality, professionality, practicality, flexibility and regularity; The local government does not take all factors into consideration; The vocational school running by local people is small-sized, under-developed and uncompetitive.We suggested some strategies about how to solve these problems. At first, the system of vocational education under market economical frame should be set up. We should unite local education units with other education units from different regions. Secondly, with requirement of the market needs, we should improve the managing system of vocational education, expand our thinking, reform objective settings, and improve the quality of teachers. Thirdly, we should take all measures to promote the development and management of vocational school by the local people. The powerful security system must be available in order to achieve the sustainable development of vocational education.The government should strengthen the management and organization and leadership, and provide more fund support, and the whole society should provide more support for the vocation education.Some vocational school in yulin has explored good school pattern. For example, Yulin forestry school reforms its subject settings and makes great progress, moreover, vocational education in Shenmu and Mizhi also achieve much.On the analysis of above successful examples and new features of vocational education in Yulin, we think the strategy can promote the sustainable development of vocational education in Yulin. We believe, with the implement of the strategy, the vocational education in Yulin will make great progress and make big contribution to the construction of Yulin.
