Culture Study Of Chinese Textbook In The Globalization Environment

In 21st century, globalization is obvious more and more. It overrides nation limit and culture differences. At the same time, it becomes an important thought of world culture and idea field.Globalization gives an important impact on Chinese education. With global challenge to value view, ethic view, culture view and talent view, Chinese education must take active measure and answer from the two aspects of theory and practice. So, it is an important problem that how to write Chinese textbook.What article can be included in Chinese textbook? Therefore, the selection is important. How do Chinese textbook response the trend of globalization? How do it exhibits the co-prosperity of multi-culture? How to keep the vitality of nation culture is a key problem on Chinese education.This dissertation discusses that what influence globalization bring to China. Otherwise, it refers the theory about the relation on culture and education from the educational culture science, and discusses what cultural quality and culture function Chinese textbook should own. On this basis, I investigate the new Chinese textbooks for high school students published by People's Education Press.Through the study of the texts selected in textbook, I get the conclusion that as a powerful carrier with excellent culture of human, the textbook has the functions of culture succession, culture transmission, culture choice and culture integration. In addition, the texts in textbook have the characteristics of time spirit, speciality, apotheosis and humanity. In future, with the development of globalization, Chinese textbooks take on the mission that inherits national culture and develop multi-culture.
