The title of this paper is "The research into the development of students' cultural sense in the situation of multi-culture." It seeks to survey the important position of cultural sense to Chinese teaching, and learning from the angle of reaching the three- dimension aim of the Chinese curriculum, searching for strategies to improve students' cultural sense in Chinese curriculum. This article includes a great number of detailed cases from middle school Chinese teaching and learning practice and plenty of first-hand researching materials, and it strives to do some analyses and give some practical suggestion in connection with this subject from theory to practice.Besides the introduction, this paper is divided into four parts, namely: the diversification of Chinese language education throughout, language curriculum and cultural sense, representation of students' fine cultural sense and training strategies of cultural sense.The first chapter is designed to reveal the popular language teaching background from the elite culture and mass culture, their characterization and point of integration between the two on the contemporary cultural environment, - the elite culture and popular culture integrated multi-cultural characteristics of a community outside the territory. One of the key points of this chapter is to cope with the fact from the front that popular culture has become one of the unavoidable teaching resources of Chinese teaching and learning because of its popularity.The second chapter analyzes the relationship between the new Chinese language courses goals and cultural sense . Students' sense of culture is not only a kind of ability is also an accomplishment, and emotional attitudes and values to achieve the objectives of the three dimensions has the consistency of its training objectives and goals of the new course andexperience to achieve the goal of convergence.The third chapter provides an overview of the students' good sense of cultural representation, that is, the new role connotation of the emphasis on self-study, a certain degree of media literacy, social and cultural concerns, and the spirit of innovation and reflection and the new abilities of reading and writing displayed with the students' new role connotation.The fourth chapter elaborates students' training of the cultural sense in Chinese course from three angles, namely, the new role connotation of the teachers, the class representation of multi-cultural predigm and identity of youth sub-culture.The arrival of Multi-cultural era for Chinese language education has brought great opportunities and challenges, but to face this great opportunities and challenges, language education seems still a lack of sufficient attention and corresponding Countermeasures. This article focused on and analyze the display of the cultural characteristics of the era of multi-culture and the new teacher-student relationship and the cultural characteristics of the new Chinese curriculum in the era of multi-culture in order to improve students' cultural sense and lay the foundation for life-long sound development and formation of the students' character so that they don't have to teach in the future.
