The teachers'professional well-being is an integrated part of their work-life, and it is an important measure to evaluate the quality of their work and life as well. Not only is the sense of well-being an important prerequisite for the teacher but a solid foundation for their successful careers, it is a motive force in their professional development. Attaching much importance to this issue will help to improve the quality of the teachers'life, and benefit the development of education and the progress of the society.Having taken a brief look at the relevant concepts, we find that the sense of well-being, from perspectives of the social economy, cultural background and the concept of value, is a thoroughgoing and positive assessment of the existence of self (physical condition, psychological function, social abilities and personal integrated state), is a kind of psychological functional state which is formed by the interaction of the interior factors--psychological elements (motivation, goals, cognition, emotion, personality) and the exterior factors, is a state of sustained happy experience. Whose needs should be met and whose potential should be exploited and whose influence on society should be acknowledged. Here, we can draw a conclusion that the teachers'professional well-being is a state of sustained happy experience which would be got when the teachers'needs will be met ,when the teacher could realize his professional ambitions, when the teacher could exploit his potential, and when the teachers'influence on society could be acknowledged. In a word, the teachers'professional well-being is composed of multi-system. And it is realized by the teachers'happy experience, the state of life, his personality and his social behaviors, and so on.With the help of the thorough investigation and careful analysis of a large number of materials, we find that the status quo is not optimistic.1.Although the degree of the teachers'working satisfaction has been much improved these years, its degree in these aspects, for instance, the management of leadership, the chance of promotion, and the working situation, has been low till now.2.The over-heavy working pressure may lead to many problems.3.That the teachers haven't paid enough attention to their health leads to sub-state health.4.Their enthusiasm to their work are diminishing and their sense of accomplishment is despondent.5.The teachers lack proper self-evaluation.6.As a result of intensifying competition, the interpersonal relationship of the teachers is becoming little harmonious somehow. And some teachers'professional morality is on the way of corruption. After the careful investigation, we find how the teachers could gain the sense of well-being. Firstly, they must have a harmonious relationship among the faculty. Secondly, they should often experience the pleasure of their own successes and of their students'. Thirdly, they should have the support of their leaders and students'parents. Fourthly, their job should be stable. The followings may give us the reasons why the teachers couldn't get well-being; 1.the trifling and mechanical characteristics of the job; 2.the management of the school, college or university could not give them a proper evaluation on what they have done or contributed; 3.the gap between the teachers'low social status and their requests; 4. the gap between their ideals and the reality.
