Infant teachers are the instructors for infants to know the world and acquire knowledge. For quite a long time, the images of infant teachers are mainly female represented by"sister"or"aunt"in the sub-consciousness of people or even in real life. With the development of preschool education carrer and the requirement of parents, there is a increasing need of the male infant teachers in the kindergarten, which is to promote the quality and healthy development of children's personality. Therefore, female infant teachers take part in preschool education career, which is helpful to promote the all-round development of children's mental health and following the development trend and social needs. Given the effect of the many factors such as social expectation, profession pressure and self-development, male infant teachers devoted to preschool education career are focused on in their professional status. Teachers' professional happiness is an important sign to evaluate teachers'professional life quality, and it is also the internal motive force and important premise for teachers to work in efficiency. The acquisition of teachers' professional happiness is not only helpful for teachers'professional development in a creative way, it is also helpful to the improvement of the teaching quality as well as the infants'healthy development and the harmonious development of the society. Here comes a series of new subjects: What is the male infant teachers' development status? What are the factors affecting the male infant teachers'"professional happiness"? How should we solve the problem of the deficiency in male infant teachers'"professional happiness"? The essay adopts case interview method of study, takes ten male infant teachers casually chosen from five kindergartens in Jinan for interview in the study. By analyzing the interview result and the relative materials, the author is trying to probe into the significance and value of male infant teachers'professional happiness and the reasons for deficiency in male infant teachers'professional happiness, as well as the corresponding improvement countermeasures.The main conclusions of this essay are as follows:I. The male infant teachers' professional happiness status is less optimistic and main teachers can not get happiness from their vocation.II. The main sources of male infant teachers'professional happiness are: intense interest to the preschool education; moved by the children'love; sense of achievement in their job; relative stability of job and salary; trust and respect from the parents; support and encourages from the leaders and so on.III. The main sources of the absence of male infant teachers' professional happiness are: beset and limit in their job; attention shortage form the government and social pressures; backwardness of management In the kindergartens.IV. As raising male infant teachers' professional happiness, the following steps are necessary: the society should support and encourage male teachers to take part in the preschool education; social support networks should be built to make sure the infant teachers' social status and legitimate rights and interests and enlarge their development space; the kindergarten should create flexible and distinctive management mechanism, to manage openly and democratically. As for the male infant teachers, they should improve their professional qualities and make more proper working attitude and try to get vocational happiness from self-development and so on.
