It has been an important and inevitable trend in the reform of China's education that teaching must be converted into an activity from life. Many experts say that current classroom teaching has no bearing on student's life so apparently that teaching has made it hard to develop student's practical ability and social responsibility by lacking of life reality and life value in whole. In order to change this situation and emphasize the connection between teaching and life, Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China issued compendium of reform to basic education in 2001. It clearly acquires that classroom teaching ought to serve for developing student's active attitude in learning in spite of excessively paying attention to impart knowledge, for intensifying the connection between courses content and student's real life or the development of society and science technology in spite of concentrating on the difficult, complicated, unfamiliar and old courses content, for enhancing student's interest and experience in learning, for helping to acquire the basic courses and skills for whole-life learning.Looked at the angle of the birth and development of teaching, it is an activity with roots in life but it has transcended life at the same time. This contradictory relation makes teaching become a deviation from life possible. The different understanding to teaching and other real factors turn the deviation into a fact. In China, there are several aspects as to this deviation in teaching: laying particular stress on the world of science and books, on ideal life and future life, on past world but ignoring real world.There are various reasons to cause this deviation. Traditional philosophy on knowledge, the adoration to authorities of rationalism, the windage of logical jumping-off points on epistemology and teaching, the exam-oriented education, all of this contributes to the deviation. The deviation between teaching and life do great harm to teaching activity. The fact of this harm is to make teaching away from life world, to make teaching unhumanistic.
