| As the breakthrough and complementary element to traditional organizational form of teaching, cooperative learning has been employed more and more widely in the student-centered classroom teaching. This way of learning, characterized by independence, exploration and cooperation, is strongly advocated by the New Curriculum Reform and has promoted the students to study in an active and individual way under the guidance of teachers.On that account, this thesis looks into group cooperative learning from such perspectives as its value, process and teachers' guiding role in classroom teaching of Chinese lessons for junior high schools in the hope of better understanding group cooperative learning.The value of group cooperative learning in classroom teaching of Chinese lessons for junior high schools lies in the fact that it conforms to junior students' thinking patterns, strengthens students' leading role in practical language learning and cultivates both their communicative ability and critical thinking. The process of classroom teaching of Chinese lessons for junior high schools includes cooperative design, goal presentation, collective instruction, group activity and assessment, among which division of groups assisted by the diagram of whole brain preference and assessment using information card are mainly talked about. Guidance from teachers in classroom teaching of Chinese lessons for junior high schools can be understood as the study of cooperative skills, relationship between individuality, competition and cooperation, as well as opportunity, content and application of cooperation. |
