"The creation of the teaching situation" is an old topic that people universally still pay attention to it today. With the deepening of the new course reformation , people more and more realize the important function of the teaching situation in biology classroom teaching and carry on the beneficial quest. Firstly, this thesis set forth the theoretical basis of the teaching situation and interrelated problems that some educators at home and abroad do research on. Secondly, the theoretical basis of the creation of teaching situation, that is, the theories of psychology and constructivism, was set forth. Thirdly, in accordance with the present situation of biology teaching in the middle school, it raised the procedure and the methods of the creation of teaching situation. The main methods are creating question situations, practical situations, actual situations and cooperative and communicative situations. The comparative experiments between the two similar classes in Junior 1 and the two ones in Senior 2 were conducted. The research methods of contrasting and measuring between beforehand and afterwards in the experiment were used, and different teaching situations in the experimental classes were set. After a term's experiments on the contrastive research, the students in the experimental classes began to differ obviously from those in the control classes. The students from the experimental classes are progressing in their comprehensive qualities. The significant outcomes indicated that situational teaching is valuable in practice.
