With the development of IT in education, contents, targets, strategies, models and systems of education have been undergoing a profound reform. The language course reform is also paying attention to the development of the modern Information Literacy of the student, in order to carry out this, the key lies in the level that the language teacher's modern Information Literacy can attain the demand, can get the appropriate development.The purpose of the thesis is to know the situation of language teachers using multimedia and network, then to discuss the strategies to develop their modern Information Literacy. The thesis has the modern educational theory and the spirit of the reform of curriculum in China as its guidelines. It aims at pushing our informational-based language education. By means of tidying up domestic and international for the development of Information Literacy's content in different times, combining special property that the language course speech practice, the author gives the content of language teachers'modern Information Literacy and analyzes the platform that the language teachers'Information Literacy set up. At last the author stress on the important meaning and development strategies of multimedia and network to the language teachers' modern Information Literacy.This thesis is constituted by the five parts.The first part analyses the content of language teachers'modern Information Literacy. By means of tidying up domestic and international for the development of Information Literacy's content in different times, combining special property that the language course speech practice, the author gives the content of language teachers'modern Information Literacy.The second part discusses around the platform that the language teachers'Information Literacy set up. Firstly, discusses on the characters of the platforms that the language teachers'Information Literacy set up. Secondly, the author analyses the important meaning of the platforms combining special property that the language course speech practice. Thirdly, introduces the content and advantages of multimedia and network respectively.The third part is a questionnaire and the analysis of the survey in ChongQing YuBei area. The actuality of the language teachers'modern Information Literacy building on multimedia and network is given in this part. According to the nation of The Technique Ability Standard of Teacher of Primary and Junior High School and combining the present condition of the education of our country, the author designs the inquisition questionnaire. Then, the author investigates language teacher's modern Information Literacy that shows in teaching design, classroom teaching and after teaching. The survey is from the six selected schools of ChongQing YuBei area. The analysis is truly based on the numbers of the survey. The inquisition data shows that language teacher's information consciousness, information knowledge, the information ability and the information morals can't satisfy the request of the education, can't satisfy the demand of the teaching.The forth part is research on the strategy of the development of language teachers'modern Information Literacy building on multimedia and network. This thesis discusses the strategies from before classroom teaching ,during classroom teaching and after classroom teaching respectively: The proliferation strategy before classroom teaching——the usage of course website; The permeation strategy during classroom teaching——the application of multimedia; the interactive strategy after classroom teaching——the establishment of Blog.The fifth part gives a conclusion of the thesis.
