With the advent of "image age", we are brought into a world which full of images.We are surrounded by a variety of image all the time, visual texts like pictures, advertising, television, movies, posters, etc, they are not only in our daily life, but also in schools and classrooms. When we are faced with these colorful and vivid visual texts, how to derive the correct information we required? How to learn these profound cultural contains with them? And how can we shield the negative impacts of the visual texts. The answer is that we need to have a certain degree of visual literacy. Children are at the stage of rapid growth, they are open to new ideas, but they also lack the ability in how to distinguish between right and wrong. So they tend to be easily attracted and influenced by these interesting visual texts, At the same time the formation of visual literacy requires a lengthy process, so visual literacy training should begin as soon as possible.According to the domestic and foreign research on visual literacy education, I think visual literacy should not be confined within the interpretation, appreciation and creation of art, it is also a kind of ability to help people to analyze and solve problems. So the visual literacy education should be integrated into the various disciplines. In view of the fact that there are many linkages and consistency between the visual language and the Chinese language, combined with information technology and media as a support boost, I try to choose the integration of visual literacy education and primary school Chinese language teaching, hope to develop learners’visual literacy while promoting Chinese language teaching.The article in accordance with the objectives and content of primary language education specified by the "Full-time compulsory education language curriculum standards (2011)", combined with visual literacy education, the author put forward the3D objects and contents of visual literacy education in Chinese teaching language in primary school. And investigate the status of visual literacy education in Chinese language teaching in primary school. On this basis, the author propose some strategies of visual literacy education in Chinese language teaching in primary school. Support with the information technology and media, according to the specific teaching objectives and content, the author development and design appropriate teaching resources. And take the related strategies as a guide, make instructional design, then launched a series of teaching practice, achieve some the practical teaching cases of visual literacy education in Chinese language teaching in primary school. Finally, through the analysis and summary of these cases, this paper concludes a mode of visual literacy education in Chinese language teaching in primary school.
