The Reasons Of The Online Games Addiction Among The College Students And The Strategies

With the rapid development of the Internet and Internet users in increasing , the new type of online games that for entertainment purpose is gradually accepted by more and more people for its characteristic of recreational,mutual and dummy . The Research of the Online Games Addiction among the College Students becomes an emerging issue recently. It gradually becomes a social problem that more and more physical, psychological and family problems have been revealed one after another because of over-indulgence in online games. Although the experts that all over the world had done lots of relevant researches on the online games addiction, but mostly this kind of addiction would be classified as a psychological disease. In fact, we can not simply conclude that the online games addiction is a mental disease, it is the child of the internet time.College students are a special group of online games players, they are the"main force"of the online game players in our country. Online games addiction that revealed from college students is indeed outstanding.Several tools for survey had been used in this thesis, included questionnaire survey, interview and cultural heritage, all of surveys are conducted at on-site, This research is focused on the college students online games addiction, have deeply analyzed for public environmental factor, college , family, games addicts and the online games itself, and put together as some relevant strategies for reference . It consists of five parts, the main content of each part is summarized as follows:Part I: It shown the background, meaning, related researching results of the on-line games addiction of college students and the research's plans and methods of this article.Part II: This article launches to bibiliography about the online games addiction, it is defined and classified as related concepts of online games and addicted to online games; By analysis of the current situation of China's online game, there are large part of college students using RPG in high-frequency . Part III: It shown that online games is harmful to those college students which became addicts, both physical, mental, psychological, family and public are affected.Part IV: In the form of a questionnaire survey and interviews, the author did conduct an on-site interview with both the counsellors of three institutions in ChongQing, online games addicts and their parents. Assoicated with both some points of view from the college students debate team and some other points of view are from the author's workshop, which is related to this thesis and stored in the College Forum and in QQ group, analyze the five major factors of addiction to online games among college students: environmental factor ,college , family and the individual's own factor of college students addiction to online games and online game (RPG games especially) itself is addictive nature.Part V: According to the various theories as described earlier, associated with this survey results, from our country, schools, families and individuals multi-dimensional perspective, proposed some interventional strategies on college students addiction to online games.
