The 20th century is known as the "century of education reform", various countries around the world have carried out a series of education reforms. Curriculum change is treated as the top priority of such reforms, many countries take it as an entry point of educational reform, and hope to promote the development of education through curriculum change. This paper attempts to analyze the strength and weakness of the current curriculum change in Mongolia and China, based on a comparative study of the new trend of reform in curriculum structure, content, classroom teaching and evaluation.This paper is divided into three parts. The first part is me comparison of the background of curriculum change in these two countries. By introducing the historical background of curriculum change in Mongolia and China respectively, the similarities and differences between these two countries will be discussed in this chapter.The second and the main part of this dissertation compares the curriculum change in Mongolia and China in details. Comparison of the structure, content, classroom teaching, and assessment is made, and the strength and weakness of the curriculum change is discussed respectively.In the last part of this dissertation, suggestions based on comparison are given for the improvement of curriculum change and educational reform in general in Mongolia and China.
