With the deepening of elementary educational reform and the promoting of the quality-orientated education, the P.E. teaching pattern of interaction of affection and knowledge is thus greatly called for and affective regulation teaching pattern thus comes into being. Under the guidance of teaching objectives in affective regulation P.E. teaching pattern and by means of management and modulation of students' affections, the teachers can exert the active roles of their main affections in class when teaching and therefore put them at their best; the teachers can arouse their enthusiasm for study and cultivate their love for learning. So this kind of affective teaching pattern accords with the principles of humanity and quality-orientated education. In all, the affective regulation P.E. teaching pattern has a realistic significance for enhancing the all-around development of students. This paper explores the applicability and efficacy of affective regulation P.E. teaching pattern in higher P.E. teaching for health care classes. Based on field teaching experimentation of the former and latter testing, the author conducts a 4-month teaching intervention of mood-regulation P.E. teaching pattern and compares it with the traditional P. E. teaching method in order to explore the different influences of these two teaching patterns on the cultivation of physical self-esteem and exercises attitudes of health care students. The results of the research indicate:(1) "Affective Regulation P.E. Teaching Pattern" has a marked impact on the students who major in health care;(2) "Mood-Regulation P.E. Teaching Pattern" can effectively help the health care students to enhance their physical self-esteem and change their ill attitudes towards P.E. exercises and thus develop an effective means to cultivate a positive attitude to P.E.;(3) Traditional P.E. teaching method is unfavorable to maintaining and promoting the development of the physical self-esteem and the formation of positive P. E. attitudes and therefore is more likely to cultivate a negative attitude to P.E. exercises for the health care students;(4) Setting up appropriate sports is a basic means to improve students' athletic ability and an efficacious shortcut to improve their physical self-esteem quickly.(5) Lowering the standard and establishing a scalar standard is effective to encourage more health care students to participate in the exercises.(6) Affective regulation has a crucial influence on the formation of a stable and lasting attitude to exercises in the process of raising the attendance frequency in sports.
