Research On Modern Supportive Services Of Distance Learning In Shanghai TV University

The modern distance education brings a revolutionary change and unprecedented opportunities for the development of Chinese education; meanwhile the problem of how to guarantee the quality of this kind of education also exits. Nowadays it is commonly acknowledged that the quality of distance education is ensured by high quality of learning support service, which can be defined as being student-oriented, striving to provide an all-round support and service through consultation, communication, management etc, for both independent and individual learning and thus creating a proper environment for students' independent learning.This paper generalizes the characteristics of the cultivating methods of Shanghai TV University, analyzes the present condition of the learning support service of modern distance education by presenting the four aspects of teaching resources support service, learning process support service represented by teachers' resources and teaching facilities, management support service and practical teaching support service, therefore puts forward the corresponding measures and constructs a systematic pattern of Shanghai TV University unique distance learning support service based on network, and realizes parts of functions of the systematic pattern.
