Application To Practice Self-organizing Learning Model In Distance Learning

With the development of computer network technology, distance-learning is growing on a large scale.However, there are still problems in the teaching model, which is not suitable for adults and the feature of the internet. In the past few years, some researches have focused on the self-organizing feature of the network learning.Based on those researches, this paper has sumed up learner's features and the features of self-organizing learning mode in e-learning, and represents the evolutionary process of the self-organizing learning system.To construct self-organizing learning mode in practical online teaching, an open network learning community should be established first and used as the main method for the learners to get the information. Secondly, teacher has to change their roles in the old teaching model.Based on the data result of an experiment on a small scale, students under the self-organizing learning mode have done better than those under the traditional learning mode.
