Li Jinxi is the cultural great master in contemporary history in our country,and he is famous as a language scientist and a social activist in our country,he also devoted his lifetime to the Chinese education as a Chinese educationalist. In many aspects of Chinese teaching, from the nature, the goal in the language discipline to the compilation of teaching material,to the teaching methods, as well as teachers'abilities and tutelages, he all had his own elaboration, finally formed his Chinese teaching system.Now, Li Jinxi has been dead nearly for 30 years, but his education articles and monographs still receive more attention, and there are hundreds of articles to analyze his works and articles. Obviously Li Jinxi's Chinese education thought still had very strong vitality, conducting the research to his thought will have big practical significance.The materials about Li Jinxi may mainly divide into two kinds: one kind is Li Jinxi's originals and the books includes Li Jinxi,the other kind is the articles that analyze explane or introduce the thoughts or the motion of LiJinxi ,and materials that record Li Jinxi's biography or actions . So far as this writer Li Jinxi Language Education for the basic thinking of only the single point, the overview, research either too narrow or too broad and do not have the detailed and systematic, comprehensive, then gather information .The topics for research, we hope to achieve the systematic, comprehensive, and can be the basis for more detailed discussion and analysis of Li Jinxi deepen understanding, also for the future of LiJinxi study .This article takes Li Jinxi's Chinese education thoughts as the research object, then research his Chinese discipline nature view and goal view, Chinese teaching material view, education law view, and refers to the realistic significance of Li Jinxi's Chinese education thoughts from various aspects. The full text altogether divides into four parts:The first part, mainly demonstrates Li Jinxi's understanding to the Chinese discipline nature and its goal.It is the basic premise to the Chinese education that understanding Chinese discipline nature and the goal. The Republic of China times,the idea that Chinese discipline was a tool occupied the dominant position. But Li Jinxi realized earlier that the Chinese discipline is the tool and the humanities disposition and proposed the Chinese education goal view that "heard read read write" should be developed.The second part, mainly narrates Li Jinxi's viewpoint about the compilation of Chinese teaching material. The teaching material is concrete application of the course content and its the series and it is the teaching main source. Li Jinxi believed that the quality of teaching material related the success or failure in the education. In the teaching material construction about elementary schools middle schools and the university language , Li Jinxi all proposed own viewpoint. He opposed the elementary student "reads the Confucian classics", initiated the teaching material compilation should have humanist,it needs to compile the stratified teaching materials that according to the students body and mind development and conforms to our country's educate aim. At the same time, he also proposed positively to edit the vice- edition teaching materials, emphasized teaching materials must be rich and colorful,so that to enhance the the uslization of teaching materials.The third part, elaborates the teaching methods which are the result of Li Jinxi explored with concentration. He took advantage of the all times and all countries, also passed through personally tests,and then induced the Chinese basic training is four kinds: "Pronunciation", "speech law","doing method", "calligraphy". This article carries on a more detailed elaboration to the first three teaching methods. In the pronunciation, according to the teaching material nature, students'degree to adopt the different teaching methods. The textbook teaching materials use "the automatic principle form teaches section" , uses the teachers answer when necessary as a method,simultaneously, specially emphasized the teaching to vernacular literature and writings in classical style should adopt the teaching methods that two outlines and fouritems. In the speech law, uses the method that acts as circumstances permit to unify national language and improve the teaching quality. In the doing method , grasps the standard of "passes" and "beautiful", connects with the speech law and pronunciation to raise the thesis level. The fourth part, points out the practical significance of Li Jinxi's Chinese education thought. First, the educaters must have foresighted and scientific understanding; Second, the teaching materials must conform to students'characteristic, simultaneously develop teaching materials's resources to the greatest degree, pay great attention to the uslization of teaching materials; Third, must pay great attention to the comprehensive nature of teaching method in the teaching ,simultaneously must raise students'independency; Fourth, the Chinese education must pay great attention to students'full development, also must pay great attention to the enhancement of teachers'quality and ability.This article uses the content analytic method, the comparison analytic method, the literature methodology to carry on the elaboration and research, and carries on a more systematic combing to Li Jinxi's Chinese education thought, it does not only explaine Li Jinxi's Chinese education thought, but also excavates the practical significance of his thought. I hope it will be able to provide the reference for the research about Li Jinxi's education later, what's more important,I hope it will provide some reference values immediately to the Chinese education.We study the Chinese educationalist, is mainly to obtain the thought essence, then to enhance our education tutelage,thus to obtain deeper foundation and the inside story to ponder reality education, reform current education malpractice, from this we can gain the new way to solve realistic questions,it will instruct our current and next Chinese education practice.Certainly, Li Jinxi's Chinese education thought is the product in certain historical condition, some has possibly played huge historical role at that time, and don't have practical significance at the present, but we were allowed to inquire the reason how he had the thought and the method at that time, so to hatch the new education thought and method, and to absorb the full of vitality part in his education thought to cause it to carry forward, so to provide better service to the education reform at the present.
