The education has a close relationship with life. The important mission of the education is to promote the full and many-sided development of each student, so they can deal with the life completely. But our school education is lack of the leisure education; as a result of this the students' life is one-sided.From the case of a class in A-town middle-school, we know that however in class-instruction, the use of free-time and the environment of campus, the leisure education is deficient. As for the classroom-education, both of the teachers and the students don't pay much attention to the art and physical lessons; in the liberal arts, there is only knowledge, no life; in the science education, the efficiency is the only pursuit. As for the use of the free time, the students only have a break for ten minutes; the other free-time is occupied by teachers. As for the environment of the campus, the classroom is a standardized place only for study; the language is full of preach color. Under this condition, the free disposition of the students is repressed; they are lack of the spirit of leisure.As a result of the deficiency of leisure education, when the students leave school, the state of their leisure is not optimistic. This is revealed in three ways: the first aspect is the low self-evaluation, most students feel boring; the second is the low level of leisure, the main contents is watching TV, only to kill time; the third is the low leisure skill, near half students think they don't have leisure skills.The author analyzed the reason of the deficiency, the conclusion is as follows:the instrumental opinions on education, the undemocratic teacher-student relationship, the unbalanced curriculum structure, the inappropriate leisure education view.At the same time, the author point out the countermeasures, they are as follows: to foster a life-valued view on education, to establish a harmonious teacher- student relationship, set a balanced curriculum structure, establish a leisure environment of the campus , make the teaching process leisurely, to introduce leisure-assistance.
