Research On The Situation And Strategies Of Leisure Education Of Middle School Students

Leisure education, coming up with the step of era, is one of the most important concepts throughout lifelong education. With the developing of science-technology and the improving of production efficiency continuously, people own more and more free time. However, we are confused in front of such situation. Actually, the pressing task is to learn to improve the life equality in leisure time rather than to struggle to work. Leisure education is the real education that is urgent to human beings. It is supposed to begin at the early stage of education. That is to say, most of the leisure education has to be taught before senior high school. Most of us thought that middle school students hardly have spare time, which is too rash before survey. The accomplishment and consciousness mastered in this age can be enjoyed all one’s life and increase the adaptation of students in later stages.This thesis does a research among four middle schools in Fuyang Zhejiang:Yongxing Middle School, The Third Middle School of Fuchun, Changkou Middle School, Yu Cai Middle School. The author did this research mainly from three aspects:the free time, the activity in leisure time and the cognition of leisure. We’ve got conclusion as follows:Middle school students have much time especially in holidays. The time differs among different schools. There is level diversity between students’leisure time. Most of the leisure activities belong to entertainment and the forms are dull and monotonous. Students from town and country have diverse activities. Leisure cognition has school and grade diversity. The youth have strong will to enhance their leisure life equality; however they seldom receive this kind of education neither from school nor teachers. Parents’ignorance and communities’negligence lead to the lack of leisure model and opportunity.Hence, we think up some tips to these shortages:to bring the leisure education into school education and promote the quality of teachers; to transform the traditional view of parents; to cleanse the media environment; to give full scope to government and to complete the education and service of communities.
