Analysis On The Leisure Life Style Of Peasants In The Construction Of New Countryside

Leisure, the basis of cultures, has an important role in the daily life of peasants. The modernization of peasants'leisure lifestyle really reflects on the modernization of politics, economics and cultures in countryside. The positive leisure lifestyle promotes the construction of new socialist countryside. As the development of the economy and the advancement of society, peasants'leisure lifestyle changes.Leisure lifestyle affects not only the physical and mental health of peasants, but also the life quality and creation of individual social values.Therefore, to understand, exploit and lead the leisure of peasants, and construct a scientific, civilized and healthy leisure lifestyle of peasants is an efficient approach of enhancing the overall quality of peasants and an important aspect of building our country cultures. It has an important and realistic significance to construct a moderately prosperous society of China in all respects, and accelerate the construction of new socialist countryside.The present study applied survey and analyses to investigate the leisure lifestyle of peasants in Huojia County, Henan Procince under the background of the construction of new countryside. The study preliminary understood the characteristics of leisure time allocation, the range of leisure spaces, the structure of leisure activities and subjective perception of leisure in peasants. The study had an empirical research on the peasant leisure lifestyle in Huojia County mainly by self-administered questionnaire surveys with the assistance of case study. This paper is divided five parts to study the leisure lifestyle of peasants in the construction of new countryside.The first Part:Introduction. We reviewed a series of internal and abroad theories related to the study, introduced the objective, significance and innovation, elaborated the theory basis, the core concept, the hypothesis and the method of the research, and so on.The second Part:discussing the leisure time allocation of peasants.The investigation indicate that the leisure time of peasants has an obviously seasonal characteristic. Most leisure time of peasants is influenced by seasons.The third part:discussing the leisure activities of peasants. We analyzed this issue from following:the organization of leisure activities, the main content and type of leisure activities, the space of leisure activities.The results show that the leisure activity space of peasants roughly has three levels:(1)Indoor activity space which takes the living space of peasants at the core;(2) Frequently used space of outdoor leisure activities, which limited in village boundary; (3)Village outside space.The fourth part:discussing the subjective perception of leisure. We analyzed this issue from following:the experience of leisure time, the evaluation of leisure life quality, the satisfaction to the places of leisure activities, the enrichment of leisure living, and the value and requirement of leisure in peasants. However, "helpless" is a quite typical characteristic of mindset for the peasant to leisure.The fifth part:Conclusion. Through empirical research, we obtained the basic conclusions of the study. Our study pointed out the problem existed in the leisure life of peasant in the construction of new countryside. In addition, we proposed the strategy of leading the peasant to construct scientific, civilized and healthy leisure lifestyle under the background of construction of new countryside. At last, we indicated the investigative deficiency of the study.
