Research On Mathematic "Re-creation" Teaching Model

Freudenthal pointed out that the traditional teaching of mathematics which only teached the ready-made mathematics violated the teaching model. The only right way to learn mathematics is to carry out the idea of re-creation. That is to let the students themselves discover or create what they need to learn. The mission of the teachers is to lead and help them to do re-creation but not to engraft them the ready knowledge. Re-creation is now widely accepted as a teaching method and principle. However it's still difficult to do in practice. First, re-creation demands the higher level of teaching. We need to reorganize the teaching materials under the principles of re-creation and apprehend the student's learning rules of mathematics scientifically. Second, there are still quite a lot of problems should to be solved in the theory and practice. And it's a long term course. According to the ideas of learning, absorbing, developing and innovating, this thesis mainly makes use of modern education theories combined with the teaching of mathematics to study the teaching model and the basic four characters of re-creation. There are mainly five theoretical aspects for the establishment. The implementation of the model should follow four principles, which are the question-raising principle, the situational principle, the subject principle and the opening principle. The classroom teaching may adopt five strategies, which are the inspire motivation, the demonstration of a conjecture, the conducting of cooperative exchange, the exploration of mathematical knowledge and the employment of mathematical methods. The design of teaching has four basic procedures: 1.pose a situation; 2.solve the problem with re-creation; 3. re-create after solved the problem; 4.summarize and develop. Implement re-creation teaching model by using the teaching-case.
