An Ethical Examination And Reconstruction Of School Institution

This thesis explores the moral education significance of the school institution based on analyzing the relationship between institution and morality, the institution morality and the individual morality, then gives an ethical examination of school institution combined with the current realities, and points out the negative impact which is brought by the defects of the school institution on moral education. In the end, this thesis puts forward reasonable suggestions to reconstruct the school institution morality.The thesis mainly includes four parts:In the first part, some key conception, such as institution, school institution, the institution morality, the individual morality, are defined at first. Meanwhile, the thesis gives a brief overview on the institutional ethics and the relationship of institution and moral education.In the second part, the thesis first analyzes the relationship of institution and morality, the institution morality and the individual morality. And the writer thinks that institution and morality share the same root, support each other and transform into each other. Institution morality determines individual morality, and individual morality compensates and improves institution morality. Therefore, the thesis points out the school institution is an important resource for moral education.In the third part, the thesis gives a moral examination of the school institution which takes the K junior middle school as the example, and points out the problems of the school institution in its formulation and execution, etc. Then the paper analyzes the negative impact on moral education which is brought by the defects of the school institution.In the fourth part, the thesis puts forward some suggestions in accordance with the problems of the school institution morality, and suggests that we should make full use of the resource of the school institution by constructing the school institution morality.
